I am buying my daughter a corsa 1.0 litre 12 v 1998 model. The exhaust is blowing around the cat. If buying a catalytic converter does the exhaust pipe going backwards from it come attached or do I have to buy pipe separately. All cats shown on internet show this pipe and cat coming as one unit.Corsa 1998 1.0 catalytic converter?
Whether you buy it on the Intranet or from a auto parts supplier, I found them to be less than the original. In other words, you won't pass inspection. I had to use 2 of them one after the other before my PU would pass. Most are after market types, no way as good as originals. But originals cost ridiculous. They all come with a lead pipe both ends.Corsa 1998 1.0 catalytic converter?
probably depends on Model year . simple enough to cut off excess pipe and fit a sealing clamp. any good exhaust shop will or should be able to supply one. I have only ever used an after market cat once as it was only a third of new price. sailed through MOT emissions.
if base engine is sound most after markets can cope with outputs but a worn engine can be difficult to clean emissions. try and buy One with a money back if it cant get past an MOT but I doubt you will get any such ...
