Bought it 1/11. It smells burnt and doesn't work right. Apex gave me a bunch of hoops to jump through and then they will Repair!! the unit. I don't want a defective unit.Bought Apex DT 502 converter box from Circuit City before bnkrptcy. It doesn't work. Now what?
You're going to have to work with the manufacturer on this issue. Circuit City has shutdown and will not take any returns at this point. I have read some bad reviews about Apex converter boxes online. Many said they run hot, and avoid the Apex. Our Circuit City only sold Zenith, I have two they are great. Also Digital Stream boxes sold at Radio Shack are another good choice.
