Stock radio head unit on 2009 lancer es, adding amp and subs help, high/mid coming in through subs...?

so i tapped into my back speakers with a converter into rca plugs for stock head units...the subs sound great but you can still hear a tad it of voice so i def dont want anything other than bass to come through the subs, i messed around with the amp settings and no luck ,it is set on LPF, i dont know what to do, anyone have any ideas?Stock radio head unit on 2009 lancer es, adding amp and subs help, high/mid coming in through subs...?
The easiest way to fix the problem would be to get a cheap, single channel, active crossover, and ditch the one that is on board. Look for one with a steep slope, 18 - 24 db/octave. This one would work pretty well.

It's a two way. But, it would still work.Stock radio head unit on 2009 lancer es, adding amp and subs help, high/mid coming in through subs...?
Add 450 mFd capacitors in parallel to the woofer. That will filter them so bad all you'll get is the lowest moan, bark and growl. It sounds like you're wishing there was a separate bass-only track you can tap. There is not.
