I have very nice Logitech computer speakers and sub. Is there any way to put these speakers into a car setup? I'd be willing to purchase a nice dash unit or anything like that, just wondering if there's any way to get the wires to work right, like a converter maybe. Can you put computer speakers in a car?
Unless the computer speakers have a built in amplifier which requires them to be plugged into 120v outlet, then they will probably only handle 3-10 watts of power so you will blow them on a car stereo. If they do have a built in amp then buy an inverter to supply the 120v and an adapter to connect the speakers 3.5mm stereo jack to the stereos RCA line outputs. If it were me I would leave your computer speakers on your computer and buy some car speakers for your car.Can you put computer speakers in a car?
One thing is why computer speakers? Yes you will definitely need a converter but if you are check the output power of the speakers I.E how many watts then find a converter that will handle that many watts.
