They have to be spliced in to the oem speaker wires.

Then, obviously, you'll have your RCA cables from the LOC to the amp.How to install an loc (low lev out put converter?
Go to the12volt.com click on "vehicle wiring" click on your car and find out the radio wiring colors. You will need to know the colors for the positive and negative terminals for your right rear speaker and your left rear speaker. You can go directly behind your radio or if its a car you can get the those wires from inside you trunk looking up toward the speakers. On the LOC your going to have 6 wires a gray, gray/black, white, white/ black or something to show a left and right wires and the 2 ground wires maybe black or brown. your gray wires go to your right rear speaker and white to your left rear speaker.

White-- left positive

White/Black--left negative

Gray-- right positive

Gray/Black--right negative

hook those up according to the right colors you just looked up make sure to tape them up really good so there not touching each other and your done..
