Can my power supply unit support a Ati radeon 4850?

My psu is an AVF(bet you guys don't know what is that) power supply ATX-500W, which is a 500w psu which has now 2 4pin molex socket left free. Can it support a ati radeon 4850? And does using a 4-pin molex to 6pin converter cause any instability in performance? Can my power supply unit support a Ati radeon 4850?
Depends on:

Your other components.

Your PSU efficiency. Can my power supply unit support a Ati radeon 4850?
LOL, if we've never heard of that PSU before, chances are its a bad PSU, and the 500W is maximum output, not maximum sustainable output

Maximum sustainable output is probably 400W or lesser

and the fact that it doesn't even have a single 6 pin PCIE worries me. This is probably a very old model

The problem with old PSU is that it doesn't emphasize most of its power on the 12v rail like modern PSU do

Modern PSU have 90% or more of the total power all put to the 12v rail. Because most modern components including CPU and graphic card all draws power off the 12v rail

You are probably better off with a new PSU

Anyway, some sign of PSU not providing enough powers

screen artifact, mysterious white box or white / black flashes across your screen during 3D game

computer crashing

game or other software crashing or encounter error

whole computer shut down by itself
