Does any line out converter work for my car? or do i need one specific for it?

I have a 1996 Ford Explorer 4 door with a stock CD player unit from a 1997 Ford Explorer Sport.Does any line out converter work for my car? or do i need one specific for it?
Yep, LLC's are universal. They make two channel and four channel units. If you want to amp the front and rear, you'd need a 4 channel. They're pretty cheap, $14 online:
