Connecting subs to stock head unit with line out converter?

i got a line out converter and i need to keep my stock head unit cause its still under warranty. im trying to connect 2 subs (1200w 12") and i was wondering if i can connect the converter to the rear speakers in the trunk. would this work? if so would i use both speakers since i have 2 subs or can i only tap into one?|||I have done this and never had any problem besides a little noise. Go ahead and tap both of your rear speakers. You will Need to run all the other necessary wires to your trunk, make sure you use a good quality amp kit. Running your remote wire can be tricky, I usually wire it to the ignition power to the radio. This way when I turn the key on the amp also turns on. To help eliminate some possible engine noise keep the power wire away from any signaling wires.
