Digital tv converter box audio only? would this work?

can i plug this unit http://www.svideo.com/digitalanalog.html into the coaxial cable out from my DTV converter box and "listen" to television? audio only?Digital tv converter box audio only? would this work?
A digital television (DTV) converter box already has an audio output that you can use to listen to television audio. Even if the converter box has a digital output that can feed this device (which is not likely) it still wouldn't provide any output that the converter box doesn't already have.

Same thing applies if you are thinking of using this with a DirecTV box (which some people confuse with DTV).Digital tv converter box audio only? would this work?

No.Digital tv converter box audio only? would this work?
No, because the coaxial out is analog RF, and that device accepts a S/PDIF digital audio signal.

Either the DTV box will have stereo RCA audio out, or if it has only RF out, you need an RF tuner to tune that, or switch to a converter box that has audio out. If it has RCA stereo audio and you are already using it, you can use RCA Y splitters or piggyback cables to run two devices off of it.
