Some lighters have a small fuseable link built into them. Once you get the lighter out take a look at the center contact. lighters easy to check first fuse if thats not it just go buy either part at any parts store insert or push in part about 5 bucks whole unit might be 20 most every one take 5 minute to replace most just have one wire and a clip holding them in place shouldnt have to remove anything really pretty easy job
