How can I convert my DVD player to component out to work with my present TV that has component in????

My present DVD player has no component out but my TV has a component in. How can I convert the signal from the player to corresspond to the component input of the TV and from where can I purchase such a converter unit. If someone can advice me that would be great. Thank you.How can I convert my DVD player to component out to work with my present TV that has component in????
It would be in your best interest just to get a new DVD player

that has component video outputs. Otherwise, use the coax

if your TV has this connection. That's about it with your cur-

rent set-up I'm afraid.

You need to clarify what type of cables you are looking for. What inputs does your TV input accept and what type of output cables does your DVD player use?

S-video, component cable, etc.? There are cables that switch between the two.How can I convert my DVD player to component out to work with my present TV that has component in????
the reason your dvd player has no component out is because it is not progressive scan. either it is slightly outdated or it is a p.o.s. there is not much difference between integrated and progressive scan dvd players. just plug it in to the normal audio/video input and you should be fineHow can I convert my DVD player to component out to work with my present TV that has component in????
Adapters exist that can convert composite (yellow) or s-video cables to component video. Some are pricier than others but none of them actually improve the picture quality. They just change the feed from one type to another. I imagine you want to use the component video connection to get the better picture, so an adapter wouldn't do you any good. Spend the 20 to 30 bucks on a PROGRESSIVE SCAN dvd player that has component video output and the picture will be better because of the resolution sent out from the dvd player, not just the type of cable. You do need to use the component cable to get the higher resolution from the new dvd player if you choose to go that way though.
buy a dvd player wiv component out. it`s worth it
Although it is technically possible to convert your existing DVD player, it would certainly be easier and better in the long run to buy a new DVD player with component output. I suggest visting RICHER SOUNDS (they have lots of shops or you could check their website) as they have a very wide range of good value component output DVD players.
